Payments Harmonization – Banks Finish Migration To ISO 20022

208 banks have completed the migration to the new ISO 20022 technology standard on schedule. This means all participants on the SIX Interbank Clearing payment system are ready for the next step: switchover of payment transactions for their business customers by the end of June 2018. From this time onward, all payment transactions will be processed using only ISO 20022. This will make the process much easier for all market participants and will strengthen the competitiveness of the entire Swiss financial and economic center.

208 Banken haben die Umstellung auf den neuen Technologie-Standard ISO 20022 planmässig abgeschlossen. Damit sind alle Teilnehmer am SIX Interbank Clearing Zahlungssystem bereit für den nächsten Schritt: Die Umstellung des Zahlungsverkehrs bei ihren Firmenkunden bis Ende Juni 2018. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt soll der gesamte Zahlungsverkehr nur noch über ISO 20022 abgewickelt werden. Das führt zu einer wesentlichen Vereinfachung bei allen Marktteilnehmern und stärkt die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit des gesamten Schweizer Finanz- und Wirtschaftsplatzes.

Harmonisation du trafic des paiements – Toutes les banques ont terminé le passage à ISO 20022
208 banques ont terminé dans les délais prévus le passage à la nouvelle technolgie standard ISO 20022. Tous les participants au système de paiement de SIX Interbank Clearing sont ainsi prêts pour la prochaine étape: le passage du trafic des paiements des clients entreprise d’ici fin juin 2018. A partir de cette date, l’ensemble du trafic des paiements devra être traité exclusivement selon ISO 20022. Cette évolution entraînera une simplification sensible pour tous les acteurs du marché et renforcera la compétitivité de la place financière et économique suisse toute entière.
